Principals & Associates: CIS was founded in the Northern California area in 1998
by H. Steve and Diana K. Clark.

Mr. Clark, the firm's President and CEO, has been involved in the construction industry for the past thirty years in both Northern and Southern California. His construction experience includes architectural and civil drafting and design, construction land surveying for residential, commercial and public works projects, construction inspection of residential, commercial and public works projects, construction lending inspection and analysis, and the training and inspection of construction safety issues. Mr Clark holds the following State licenses and national certifications:

Diana K. Clark, the firm’s corporate Vice President, has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and has been published in strategic-management publications. Diana has been affiliated with the construction industry since 1998. Her experience in marketing, management and construction has benefited our firm tremendously from not only a marketing stand point, but from strategic planning and fiscal aspects as well.

Industry experiences of the associates’ utilized by CIS range from licensed contractors, appraisers and architects, certified master inspectors, project managers, surveyors, construction estimators, plan checkers, forensic experts, commercial property managers, and certified building inspectors to construction contract administrators and construction lawyers.
